A local economist will take a look at growing concerns of a recession, key inflation drivers, and what it all means for local businesses in this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.  
 
Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin the webinar with a detailed look at strategies for reducing business debt, how to analyze expenses, and how to create a debt plan. 
 
Bearden will be joined by Dr. Mark Evans, professor emeritus and former chair of the Economics Department at CSUB to discuss concerns of a recession, key drivers of inflation, the impact of turbulence in the banking industry, and what the Federal Reserve’s continued rate hike campaign means for small businesses.  
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
