We’re delighted to announce that as a part of our Central CA SBDC Network’s ongoing efforts to provide an expanding range of resources and services to small businesses and the local community, the UC Merced/Mariposa SBDC has merged with Central Coast SBDC to form a new center: Monarch SBDC. The Monarch SBDC will be hosted by UC Merced and headquartered in Downtown Merced, with expert advising, training, and resources continuing uninterrupted across Merced, Mariposa, Monterey and San Benito Counties. New Center!

The UC Merced SBDC and Central Coast SBDC have merged to form the Monarch SBDC, a new regional center serving Monterey, San Benito, Mariposa, and Merced Counties. Hosted by UC Merced and based in Downtown Merced, the Monarch SBDC will continue all advising and training services without interruption. Services in Monterey and San Benito Counties are not ending, with the Monterey County Business Council remaining a key affiliate partner in Salinas.

Advisors remain available to support businesses with financing, cash flow, hiring, marketing, AI tools, government contracting, buying or selling a business, and more.
